            tough question since boxing as a sport was biggest between 1920-1940 while the hw division was strongest in the 60s and 70s

              1980's was the best decade for me because of the pure depth, but these ****ing last 10 years have been absolutely terrible - worst period ever for the sport.

                1955-1980 without a doubt. you had of course ali. you also had foreman, frazier, liston, robinson, torres, fullmer, griffith, duran (at lw), and many others.
