Im done hiding, I gotta tell ya...I like Calzaghe in this one!

Lacy has a ton of momentum and he looks to be a fine contender but Im tellin ya'all now Joe Calzaghe will win this fight.

I dont think he stops Lacy unless it is a bad stoppage (ala Bryan Mitchell) but I like his far superior hand speed and his underrated HEART and I think regardless of what many say the class of fighters he has been in with certainly outweighs that of the still very green Jeff Lacy.

Plus we are talking about fighting at his place...Joe has been disrespected and disrespected and then disrespected some more which is fin- alot of it has been deserving...but...

He will win this fight because Lacy is good but not half as good as people are making him out to be, he will win this fight because he is good...**** that he is a helluva lot better than people (most of which have barely seen him) have made him out to be.

    Joe ****ing Calzaghe baby!

Lets go Joe...I just wanted to let you know that you have some support even in the US-any other Americans pulling for Calzaghe or am I the only diphsit?

      I suppose.

      Key Question:

How will Calzaghe deal with Lacy's tenacity and power?

Calzaghe has just as much tneacity, I think the younger Lacy hits harder but he hits alot wider too, Joe's handspeed should be enought to beat the wild swinging slugger to the punch.

I agree. many people on this site like to criticize Joe because of all the injuries that he sustains. The fights been called off and all that. At the end of day his talent is plain to see and if one watches his fight with Eubank you'll a very accomplished fighter.

How many times has Joe been dropped? How many has Lacy?

My 1 fear is that Joe has let his prime go by-if he does lose you will not here any excuses out of me saying he was past his prime...if he has past his best then Joe will have no one to blame but himself.

Lacy is going to punish Joe but i am a little nervous since I do respect Scaps opinions alot more than most on this site.
