What if...*Puts tin foil hat on*
Al Haymon/GBP behind this. They set him up, protecting Charlo, and protecting Canelo from having to fight Molina, and instead make Canelo-Lara(Haymon fighter) in a PPV event that sells another 350-400k rather than 150-200k vs Molina?

Totally. Back in the old days, people could fly under the radar much more easily; but with the proliferation of computers, it's becoming increasingly difficult. I'm mildly surprised Molina was able to go undetected for so long. It's probably mainly because the sport of boxing is so poorly run.Last edited by Respect Power; 03-17-2014, 08:35 PM.

They must not do any criminal checks when licensing boxers. (Makes sense --half of them wouldn't get licensed. lol) If Molina refused to travel by air, he must've known about his arrest warrant in Wisconsin. And if he knew that, he knew to keep his nose clean. It all finally caught up to him. It really had to someday.

On top of that, as I mentioned before, the sport is so ill-run that missing Molina's background comes as no surprise. But now that the cat is out of the bag, Molina's U.S. career is kaput. Hell, with that sex offender charge looming over him, Molina might not be able to fight again anywhere.
Btw cool avatar pic Hector Lombard!!! Lol
