Floyd is an underrated body puncher and a smart fighter who will go to Maidana's body early and take away his steam. The only chance Maidana has in this fight is hoping for a miracle. Watch for many stiff jabs to Maidana's body early in the fight.

This is going to be a completely comprehensive boxing lesson, it's a virtual mismatch in terms of speed and skill

No he wont. Wont even come close. His workrate will be cut in half in not more. Post fight I can see it now" Why did he throw the fight?" ..."Why isnt Marcos throwing enough punches?" "Whats wrong with him?.

You ****** kids will learn one day.

There is a pattern but it's been broken in the past. Castillo, Hatton, and Cotto all brought the right game plan and had greater success (I, like many others, think Castillo even won the 1st fight) than the likes of Guerrero and Canelo who stood and stared from the outside.

In the past I've harped on this fact, that If Mayweather is going to be successful against Maidana then at some point he is going to have to fight him off of him.

The reason being is the more he touches Floyd, it is going to take an adverse effect on his lower body; Especially his legs due to El Chino's superior cardio rate. Moreover, Marcos more than doubles Floyd's punch output of about 40 punches per round while averaging nearly 1000 punches per fight himself. Therefore, for Floyd's sake I hope that he is prepared and knows what he's getting himself into because Maidana is bringing hard, frequently and nonstop.

Also, as I've stated in times past, it's going to take more than a clinch and a pot shot or two to stifle Marcos' work rate and keep him off of him. Mayweather's plan is to attempt to outbox Maidana for 12 rounds but with those 37 year old legs I'm not so convinced that he can. At some point, I think that he is going to have bite down and dig deep in order to win this one.

If he throws that much, his accuracy will just suffer and he'll wear himself out.
