Yes but he was hitting something. Missing takes twice the energy from you. Floyd is not broner. he will not stand in front of Maidana to be hit like broner did. I assure you that the more Maidana misses, the faster his punch output will go down.

Considering how many lesser fighters have hurt Maidana, I'd be disappointed if Floyd didn't stop him. Stamina has never been his strong suit, but he made up for it with heart. If Maidana does throw 100 punches per round, he won't last very long.

100 punches per round is 100 opportunities per round for Floyd to counter. Maidana will probably get knocked out by round 10.
