If it was pauli a few years ago that fought juan diaz, then i think pauli would have a great chance, but his legs just arent there for all 12 rounds if he really has too work like he did vs cano.. Broner and judah dont have much movement so it made pauli look like he still had legs,, but vs danny, i think after about 6 rounds pauli will become stationary for the most part, and danny will treat him like he did morales, judah, campbell...

Paulie won't have to move for 12 rounds as Danny has a relatively low workrate and doesn't apply constant pressure (like Juan Diaz). He takes rounds off and allows his opponents to win rounds (Morales I, Judah late in the fight, Mathysse, now Herrera), that's why his fights are close.

I think Danny will eventually get to him and hurt him though. This fight could have a lot of close rounds.

I disagree. I think that is a bad style match up for Malignaggi. While it's true that Paulie has fast hands and a nice flicking jab to complement them. However his jab is more of a flicking jab as opposed to a snapping jab as was witnessed by Herrera in his bout with Danny Garcia which forced Swift to back up in order to evade it.

In addition, as was proven in the Broner fight, Paulie is not that elusive and hard to find. He gets hit way too often. Even while backing up, he was yet being touched up fairly easily and quite frequently by Broner, even while attempting to out box him from the outside; Which was probably why he lost the Broner fight in the first place.

Furthermore, AB landed about 60 percent of his power shots coupled with a very low workrate. Also, he did not once back up or retreat a single time because of Paulie's flicking jabs or work rate or have a single mark on his face for that matter.

The fight makes sense for danny's first fight at welter, but i just think there are better matchups for both guys. instead of this snoozer
