honestly, this is a cop out. if the weight is an issue, you should have gone up after beating mathysse. fighting a guy like herrera as your debut at 147 would have been fine. when you're supposed to be the guy in a division and you don't look it, you're going to have problems. but that's what you get when you try to bamboozle the public like that. you get exposed.

You knew coming into the fight sooner or later Danny was going up to weight especially after the long layoff. There's allot of rounds that were close BUT you have to rip that belt from the champ, you have to do more then enough.

The judges who had the fight 8-4 for Garcia were blind, I had the fight 8-4 (7-5 at the very worst for Herrera) for Herrera, he did enough to take the title.

Danny doesn't want to get in the ring with Ruslan Provodnikov, he would get beat up. The judge that had it a draw was at least trying to be honest.

This is one fight I would've been happy with a draw. If anything Herrera did more work throughout most of the fight.

Garcia is simply a pasty, boring azz fighter that doesn't do anything great. The reason he is where he is is because of his timing and distance skills, which I'll admit are top notch.

Ive been saying this for the longest. Garcia is one of the worst lineal champs ever. Dudes only weapon is that ****** left hook. His size helped him out hurt these smaller guys and helped them take their punches. When he moves up those 7 pounds will make a big difference thurman will hurt him.

Nah, Garcia is a good champion. He lost last night, but rather than diminish Garcia the props should be given to Herrera.
He never allowed Garcia to be comfortable in there. He had the perfect game plan and he deserved the victory.
