Herrera won. It's a shame that instead of now defending his titles, he'll have to beg for a decent fight.

jabbing the body isn't making the fight, esspecially when getting combo'd

very very close fight, had garcia winning it though

i think people got that underdog "did better than expected" process in their mind, esspecially watching it live with the jitters or w/e the ***

i watched just now on youtube, no robbery

                What are you talking about?

SHO had Herrera winning a UD - the judges aren't hired by SHO. Herrera snapped Danny's head back and controlled the fight. Danny looked lost and out of rhythm thanks to Herrera's consistent workrate. 116-112 for Garcia is just wrong.

Danny is basic and flatfooted, the only thing he relies on is that left hook, Herrera fought really well and deserved the win, but the judges were paid off imo.

I get what you're saying about the "underdog did better than expected" thing. But people need to quit the whole "you can't win with the jab" ****. Of course you can, the jab is a punch. Boxing is scored on punches. Jabs and body punches count.

2 fighters screwed bcuz they were fighting Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico. Ponce with a very fast uncalled for stoppage and Herrera with a corrupt decision.

Ponce was using defense and punching back, not hurt and had all his faculties at time of stoppage and Herrera using his jab to beat Garcia's ass all night.

Garcia overrated can easily be baet by someone who uses a jab. LM was successful when he used his jab, but decided not to use it consistently when he fought Garcia.

Garcia is the most flatfooted fighter I have ever seen. His defense is weak, he is slow and plodding. He would be devoured at welterweight. His excuse about his weight being the problem in the fight is pathetic. He has made it pretty clear until tonight that he does not want to move up in weight. He came in at 139lbs, did not have to lose any weight at the weigh-in like fighters who usually have trouble making weight nor did he gain a tremendous amount of weight the day of the fight. He has never complained about weight problems. He has been trying to avoid fighting good fighters for 2 yrs. Now his new evasion is moving to 147. He was forced to fight LM and LM blew that fight. He wants to spend his career fighting over the hill fighters like Morales and Judah. Both of whom almost beat him, Morales in the 1st fight. His most impressive win is against LM, which was a competitive fight, whom he refuses to give a rematch. Instead he chooses to fight Herrera who he thought was gonna be a cake walk. He would not even give Khan a rematch. He wants to stay at 140 fighting old fighters or nobodies and he wants to make millions in doing so. Hell everyone wants Mayweather, but when asked if he wants a fight with FM, he avoids the question. He is the only fighter alive that does not want a fight with FM. That says it all. Hell he does not even call out Manny Pacquiao
