Wow...guy's, your profiles have become bill boards for ignorance..try to remember to maybe get your point across with your brain by using your words. There are still some great points and opinions out there for sure but since 2004 the general boxing IQ on this site has gone the way of accurate non biased ringside color commentating.(seems only Teddy has honest opinion, right or wrong, good for him for being a man) Stop licking some fighters nuts just because some of the press and some network says he's the next Joe Louis, Marciano or comparable to Leonard, Chavez, Gomez etc. Mayweather is very good for sure but do you believe he would beat Hearns, Hagler or Duran? Basilio..Ross, McLarnin, Armstrong and oh ya, that guy Robinson??? Jesus. If you do, you don"t know the sport and are just a cheer leader and a source of income. Hey, I like the guy, he's a great salesman but not a great fighter.
Great fighters do great things, like fight the best time after time or at least deal with adversity on an occasion, like fighting in their opponents back yards. I even remember when fighters who fought with dirty tactics where considered bad guys. Tyson never ever threw a foul until the very end of that tumultuous career. Now, its OK as long as you get that win. Punch a guy when he's not defending himself...its fine..throw low blows as long as the ref doesn't warn you...it's great.
There always has been controversy in this sport and there always will be, whats newer is, the general boxing public swallowing this bull **** and then yelling it from the highest mountain. In the real world...Wilder might be a bit of a puncher but he barely hit that guy. He never had scarey power as an amateur and he would have had that rep before, right? That was a give away hook to land his right hand. Clear focused eyes give it all away gents. Did Chisora damage Scott that much? Only his camp knows.
Garcia blatantly lost his fight and he knew it, as did his rabid father. Kinda strange that even though the scores where open, during the fight they did not know how they were doing.
There I feel better...until the next show... Fu;kn sport, grumble grumble.
