It's pointless to speculate when there's footage to clarify all doubts. The 'fix' was clearly in, anyone who thinks otherwise dunno chit bout boxsin!

If you've seen enough of Wilder you would know hes nothing special and has little skills but his one strong point is his power. Thats why Im not so shocked to see him knock someone out like that. If you've also seen Scott fight before you would know hes known to have a soft spot behind the ear.. put 2 and 2 together and you get 4. Its not unreasonable to see a guy known as a power puncher to KO someone whos known to give in quite easily.

I have seen nearly ever single Wilder fight I know if he lands flush, probably nap time and I like watching the guy ko people but this to me was just not credible and I have no idea why this happened this way.

          1) The "KO punch" didn't appear to land squarely.

          2) Scott appeared to "throw" himself to the canvass in a seemingly controlled manner when he went down.

          3) Scott's eyes were wide open and lucid in appearance at all times.

          4) Scott's attempts at getting up during the ten count while convincingly presented seemed manufactured.
          5) Scott winks at Wilder just before Wilder initiates his attack.

          6) (Possibly from what I've heard) They are friends.

I absolutely believe he did take a dive. Wilder is so inferior to Wladimir and the top European heavyweights that he needs to have a cash out bout before the bloke is exposed. I think it's smart marketing from a business viewpoint but it cheats the fans.

Dive. Got slapped with a hook. Maybe hurt him. Could have continued if he wanted to. Either was a dive or a friendly side-deal.

Either way the fix was in.

No but it helps kiddies sleep better at night, so I guess if people REALLY think Scott took a dive, well hope you all sleep better tonight lol.

I cant answer those last two questions because Im not in their shoes. Im not going to sit here and pretend I KNOW how hard he hits and how people should react to getting hit by him because that would be silly.

They are just building up that cash cow and milking it before cashing out when that chin exposed. Circa 2015.

Victor Ortiz was never hurt to the point he couldnt continue in any of the KOs he suffered(according to him, not me) he admits he just didnt want to get up or keep going, thats a mental flaw..its a trait he shares with Scott and its what seperates decent fighters from good fighters. Its really that simple and people just cant accept it. Crying fix is just.. I have no words.
