So can we all agree that Mauricio Herrera is the KING OF 140? Dude has wins over Ruslan Provodnikov and Danny Garcia now. GBP should throw Herrera a bone and let him take that I.B.F. strap from Lamont PEDerson.

I'd actually pick Lamont to win. He has what you need against Herrera which is one hell of an inside game. Styles make fights.

No way was this fight even close to a draw. A draw is a robbery for Herrera

Herrera won at least 8 rounds CLEARLY

Herrera had the better offense, defense, volume and ring generalship except for the 11th round which he stood against the ropes but he was blocking all of Danny's punches. He also busted up Garcias face.

Worst fight card maybe ever. Early stoppage, clear fixed fight and blatant robbery. SHO and GBP should be banned from boxing

definitely a POS fight card at least the Showtime commentators got it right for Herrera

corrupt Judges , corrupt promotional companies Golden Boy & Top Rank are sinking boxing. This boy Herrera is a nobody , for him to win tonight he had to KO Garcia twice and still probably would have not gotten a decision. All 3 commentators calling the fight had Herrera winning easy. The rest of the unbiased boxing fans had Herrera winning easy. This is another black eye for boxing along with that fixed Canelo fight where Angulo was throwing punches that could not hurt a 2 year old. Boxing is getting disgusting.

I c everybody talkin down on the CHAMP is either mentioning something about race, r khan fans, or just straight rookies to boxing. It was a good fight. Herrera however didn't win. Punches landed were close but the CHAMP clearly landed the more meaningful punches throughout the whole fight. Won't b surprised if the Garcia family ask for the rematch just to shut all u birds up AGAIN....... AND STILL!!!!!

i have never been sold on garcia. apart from a powerful left hook, hes average in all other areas.

garcia does tend to perform to the level of his opponents. he doesnt handle being the favourite well. he thrives on being the underdog. mathysse would have got to him down if his eye didnt close.

i had the garcia fight a draw but i would have leaned towards herrera by a round. some of those rounds were so close. but what a tricky and akward customer herrera is at times reminded me of bernard hopkins. he nullified garcia's power punches used his head as a third glove. i could see how he beat provodnikov.
