I'll reserve judgement until after I watch the replay tomorrow. I never judge fights while I'm watching live. Takes away from my enjoyment. But, all of my fight buddies had Herrera winning and I felt he was the more effective fighter.
That said, nothing unexpected happen tonight. All us FNF heads knew Herrera had a tricky style. And combine that with Danny being a bit overrated and likely overlooking Maurico a bit, and you have a recipe for what happen. This is what happens when a champion actually defends his title. Every fight isn't gonna be a superfight. But defending against different styles is tough and the reason why its tougher to actually hang in and defend a title instead of jumping weight taking on attractive names.
