I have no problem whatsoever with your stoppage weeks, keep up the good work you are a world class referee.

weeks is a great ref, and he made the right call.

angulo takes frightening punishment in some of his fights. the scary thing is that he took a much worse beating against kirkland. his neck looked like it was made of rubber. his head was just flying around.

can you imagine what's happening to a man's brain when he takes a sustained beating like that?

        amen.

weeks has been around the sport long enough to know that he made the right call. i'm sure there have been plenty of real fans of the sport who have gone out of their ways to tell weeks that they thought he made the right call.

Had Weeks let the fight continue and had Angulo suffered a brain hemorrhage or some other nasty injury, Weeks would've been hounded like a runaway slave.

Angulo needs to thank Weeks and now work on much better defense like Moving Your Head more for your next fight.

            .

He made the right call and saved Angulo from a Magomed type injury.

One thing about boxing that I've never understood is if a fighter is getting mollied for almost the entire fight, why stop it when it's almost over?? Especially if the fighter doesn't want you to.

Maybe the ref could have found a more dramatic moment to stop it, but El Perro was done. He wasn't gonna' hurt Canelo and he sure wasn't gonna' outpoint him.

                    Good stoppage.
He was not even trying to hurt him, pitty pat all night long and the hard ones he missed by a lot

Angulo, much like he did against Lara, looked slow and old but against Lara he had an opponent who couldn't take his shots and Angulo managed to land some real haymakers. Canelo on the other hand looked sublime.
They were fighting in a phone booth and the mat was made out of sand, to top it off angulo look like the energizer bunny and was a least 14 pounds heavier, perro-ginger wasa football field, just put all the facts outhere so we can be better informed.
