Everyones talking about the open scoring but what about this:

automatic point deduction on ACCIDENTAL CUTS. A point will be deducted to the uncut boxers after an accidental injury.

good & bad can come from open scoring. the good is it could make the fighter losing take more chances so there could be a more exciting fight. the judges will be under the microscope so everyone in the arena will know what is happening score wise. the down side is the fighter losing could get dejected & stop fighting his best. the guy who is clearly winning the fight is behind on the cards will have to deviate away from what has been working. the dangers of a hostile crowd when the scorecards are read & they differ from what the crowd is seeing. fights, booze & bad scoring could be a recipe for disorderly conduct in the crowd... i'm not sure if it is a good idea...

Not sure you really need open scoring for Wilder-Scott should be pretty obvious.

I don't like open scoring BUT if it forces the losing fighter to try harder then I do. I'd rather just have it be a mystery, it gives hope of a robbery for fans of the losing fighter.

That sucks, open scoring blows. This a fkn fight, wait till its over damnit. Robberies will happen regardless.

Ruins a fight if its somewhat close yet Fighter A might be up 7 rounds to 1 by the 8th.. it would really kill the fight pace in my opinion.

Open scoring wont help bad scorecards. Just look at the canelo-trout fight... open scoring but the judges dont give a **** lmao. The judge that had it a shutout after 8 rounds was absolutely shameless and didn't give a **** that it was open scoring still.

Exactly, that was a disgrace and they didn't give a sh** if everyone knew the cards were filled out before the fighters even stepped in the ring.
