The fact that light hitting Chisora dropped Scott should be all you need to know about Scott's chances.
Chisora is the only one who has dropped Kevin kingpin Johnson. Kingpin is not worldclass but he's got a very good chin.
Wilder is raw but he got some real deal power. Although Scott is better than most of the guys Wilder has fought...what makes him so legit? Scott has been matched up with soft opponents as well.
Malik looked pretty good against Glazkov but after the Chisora fight I question his heart. As far as skills Malik is a better boxer than Wilder but what will happen when Wilder start landing? I have a feeling he's the type of boxer that will look for a way out when he gets hurt. I hope he proves me wrong though.
Malik Scott is by no means a top contender in the division.
In order for Wilder to become legit, at least in my eyes, he would have to beat a HW like Arreola. An established, tough HW who packs a good punch and can take a good one as well. That is when we will truly see what Wilder is made of. Scott will only test the ring smarts of Wilder and just mildly.
Yeah, that's how I'm thinking too. If he looks bad against Scott, I don't see him beating the better fighters in the division.

Johnson doesn't even try to win these days, I wouldn't be surprised to see Charr stop him in their upcoming fight. Scott was hyped from his sparring days, but his quality showed itself when the tested Chisora took it to him. Scott is no risk to Wilder - got no punch and his workrate is garbage. If he actually showed up to win, he could've beat Glazkov, but was probably too afraid to get hit so he played it safe and got the D.
he will face a young, up and coming talented heavyweight and he will ko him within 4 rounds just like everyone else he's faced.
What will the haters say then.
Beware, wilder is coming and there is NOBODY who can stop him
In never never land maybe. He might beat Scott, but Wilder is not and never will be a good fighter, he is the HW Randall Bailey. Big right hand and nothing else.

Johnson never tries to win. That's why he's so ****ing boring. He will always come just to survive. The punch that knocked Johnson down was a very good punch so all credit to Chisora.
I don't care what the judges had to say..Scott won that fight but I do agree with you that he likes to play it safe and can by lazy at times. Malik is still a pretty good fighter. He moves well in the ring and is a good counter puncher with fast hands...a nice long jab, good defence and overall good boxing skills. Malik has all the tools to beat someone like Wilder but like I said I don't think he's mentally strong. Think Malik eventually gets clipped with the right at some stage and stopped but It would be nice to see how Wilder fares going past the 4th round.

My thoughts too.i don't see Wilder making against the established guys like Arreola or Stiverne though, they simply hit too hard.Wilder seems to have major balance issues,he reminds me of Fury,a KO waiting to happen.
It isn't a question of heart with either of them, just simply too many question marks over their durability and mental toughness.study their fights,no one can proclaim them to be special.
