true that boxing is unlike anyother sport you get your man and your support him to the fullest then most hate every other fighter in the game. i was that way when i was in full swing roy jones's camp but really there are a lot of exciting fighters out there and i want to see them fight each other before i switch over to ufc where they actually do fight each other.

Im a cotto/PBF fan. I am not nuthugging. It's just that all of the brits seem to hype hatton so much. He has fough 40 fights and beat tszyu (The only name on his resume that is acceptable) and fought 39 bums. Don't get me wrong i like hatton but he doesn't have what it takes to take Floyd. Cotto vs Hatton is a good fight. It's a pick'em fight but i belive Cotto will get though Hattons pressure style and end the fight with a KO. You seem how many times kostya tszyu hit hatton while he was coming in. It's that tszyu didn't hit him flush and i know Cotto will. As for Floyd i see him schooling Hatton. Winning by a UD or late KO. Hatton hasn't faced real competition YET. Kostya tszyu was one but that's the only fight you could bring up and not only did Hatton Beat him, He beat him in a unprofessional manner. Dirty tactics and consecutive clinching during rounds. Hatton has fought like that in his last two fights with names from the US that had good records (Maussa is garbage) and Hatton seemed to have clinched alot in those two fights. Is this Hattons new style? Is Hatton taking classes with Ruiz? I don't know but we shall see how Hatton's performance is on his next upcoming fight. IMO Hatton's record is padded he will not make it nowhere once he sets foot in the US with a real fighter.

There wasn't any rough house tactics against Maussa, Maussa was doing the fouling and he got beaten the **** out of.
He wont beat PBF and he's my favourite fighter.

            meaningless? How?

You're probably tired of getting owned.

            Better stick to your one-liners.

Hatton employs tactics which is illegal. His gameplan is to apply pressure by punching you on all sides and at a terrible rate.

Although I don't approve of the bad tactics sometimes, I cannot deny that Hatton is a very good fighter.

The Brit-hatred is 100% to do with nationality, American's are bullies and have bitter hatred towards Britain for whatever reason I don't know.

I'm no limey, don't hate limeys either. I think that Hatton is the man to dispel the myth of PBF's invincibility and I also am picking Calzaghe to expose Left Haymaker.

Be patient with us Yanks. We grew up in a sporting world where our national champs are called world champs (still so in basketball and baseball, even though we no longer hold first rank in these sports). It is hard for us to imagine that foreigners, especially white europeans, can compete with our best athletes. The Euro influx of the NBA and the Eastern dominance of the heavyweight boxing ranks will eventually chnage that.
I don't think most of us hate Hatton. It is just that many of us are preparing for disappointment by lowering expectations (see Wlad K, Darko Milicic, etc.). We feel a right to say you are not great until you have done great things here. Sure, some overdo it and they are mostly self-hating whites or black racists who feel uncomfortable seeing their stereotypes challenged.

That's ridiculous. We, as a people, most certainly do NOT hate the British. You're proof that, if anything, it's the other way around. Give it a rest.
