It was ugly but it worked ! Even Roger Mayweather admits after viewing past Hatton fights that Hatton is real real good

Not everyone that hates Hatton is a "yank",as you put it. Saying stuff like that starts arguemnets friend. I for one like Hatton but he will lose to PBF.

He said that Ricky had "no defence", so he's criticising him.

Here is the quote from Roger what he told Sky Sports last year-

i like hatton as well but i agree with everyone elese he cant beat pbf. now seeing him fight cotto that would be tight, i'd even like to see him smack gatti around or a real good fight would be with malignaggi.

I like Hatton. He's fierce and not boring.

A fight with PBF will be great. I think he'd give PBF a good fight. Not sure who'd win though. I wouldn't be surprised either way.
