People that are fresh outta rehab genuinely wanna right wrongs and make peace with people they've had problems with. So I can easily see DLH and Schaefer having differing views about the current beef with Arum.

Everyone I know that was fresh out of rehab went right back to getting high. Rehab is a joke vacation for rich people.

Notice he didn't deny it. If you want to look a little further into it, he went on to say that he is looking into the "source" of those rumours. Why do you care about the source if it's just a rumour? If you are looking into the source it's likely because it means there is a mole in your camp that is leaking information and you want to find out who the mole is........ Houston!

I never took the rumor seriously because I always knew that Richard Schaefer is the reason Golden Boy exists. Schaefer is the money link behind Golden Boy Promotions and runs the company. Oscar Dela Hoya is just a figurehead. No different than Mike Tyson and Iron Mike Productions.

Sounds like it could be a simple disagreement between the two and someone took it to be more than just that.

Either way I don't see this ending in any other way than the two squashing it. Oscar de la Hoya is a lot of things, but one this he isn't is ****** when it comes to business. He knows Schaffer help build his company into one of the most successful promotional companies in the world, and the most successful by a fighter.
