    My thought about catch-weights

People on this site LOVE bashing catch-weights. It's a bit ridiculous.

Do I like catch-weights? Not really. Could I do without them? Yeah. However, BOTH fighters have to agree on the weight. People act like one fighter puts a gun to the other's head and makes them agree on a weight.

How can I call [fighter A] a p.ssy for requesting a catch-weight when [fighter B] agreed to it?? Obviously [fighter B] thought he could make that weight, so that's on him.

If both fighters agree to it, then there should be no excuses. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I'm a huge Cotto fan and Miguel did not looked drained at all in that fight. Pac won, simple as that. It didn't help that Cotto, being the bigger man, tried bullying him around the ring lol

there's nothing to it, catchweights been around forever
they pretend to care about catchweights if Pac uses them
they pretend to care about better testing if Pac balks over cutoffs
they pretend to believe Bradley won the Pac fight
it's just the usual Floydfag posing, it's what they do

It's only Floyd fans that make a big deal out of them, but they've quieted down a bit after the Canelo fiasco

because after it's over the loser might go back and make an excuse about the weight, pretending he didn't say it's a non factor beforehand

I don't like when a champion is forced into defending his title under the weight max of the division.
