im just posting my opinion like everyone else here, but i can give you 4 reasons why that is the way it is.

    1) floyd picks may/sep date
    2) opponent has to be latino/hispanic
    3) undercard has to be well stacked
    4) after ppv event everyone ask "who won"

Relax, sit back and enjoy the show. ****, I would love to wake up one day with every one realizing that money is just paper so people can be respected for what they contribute to life besides money but don't see it happening.
no man. Sorry to tell you. Im willing to pay but for something real, with real fight. Everybody said canelo had to fight lara, the winner, not angulo who just lost. I want rhe best fights and unless promoters dont prepare a legitimate fight they will take your money not mine. It seems that mexicans in us and in df have a lot of money to waste even for garbage. I dont. This sport have to go back to the root, when the best fought the best. We should stop manipulation and leave and empty seat when canelo is fighting a bum. Now he is willing to fight another granpas. I easely can bet on canelo to win. This is a desgrace and manipulation.

A buddy of mine is a producer he did a movie out here called "shoot the hero" and trejo was in it. Me and some friends got to hang out with him one night for the launch (whatever it's called) of the movie. Dude is really cool and down to earth. Like you said he also has a really good story.

Seen your edit. I do agree with you

But I really disagree in the fights last weekend had. The fight between Canelo and Angulo was pointless because everybody knew for Canelo was an easy fight. Also Santa Cruz should accept bigger challenges. I want to see Canelo doing real fights like GGG, Lara or Kirkland. My favorite of course Lara. While they continue to make those silly fights only Mexicans will be interest, or someone with money to buy and nothing else to see. That's not my case LOL
So that's your beef with Mexican fighters? That no matter how bad of a mismatch it is Mexican loyal fan base will support their and get the big bucks? Is that your whole problem? That's called jealousy-envy.

Numbers were about what almost everyone was expecting. 500k would have been better, but it is what it is. Heard his gate numbers were also good.

Canelo only accounts for 350,000 buys on his own. As we have seen. Probably less if you count the Angulo fans who also bought the ppv.

It's pointless to argue with him. He gets upset at Mexicans for supporting their own even though he does the exact same thing.

He gets upset that Canelo beat Angulo so easily claiming Angulo is a bad fighter, but fails to recognize that same Angulo gave his fighter Lara all kinds of problems. He says Canelo avoids tough opposition but fails to realize he fought Trout when he was undefeated and no one thought he would, and took a chance at the P4P best in mayweather.
Even if Canelo were to fight and KO Lara they'd find a way to discredit his win. We would then hear about how Lara wasn't really that great, how he struggled with Molina, Vanes, and Angulo, and how Canelo should really fight
