You should have stopped your statement with "everybody pays to see Floyd." Whether its pay to see him win or pay to see him lose is irrelevant. They pay to see Floyd.

But also lets remember those are big party days for alot of people, and a good portion of his buys come from people who have parties based around the event itself. Floyd is a big name, when he fights its all over ESPN and such, other fights just simply aren't. So people see it as a big deal, and they throw parties and purchase the PPV, it isn't just Mexicans and people paying to see him lose though I do imagine those are both a good portion of his sales.

Big boxing PPV matches are party events and people like to use any excuse they can to have a get together.
right so he fights mexicans or mexican americans or latin guys to help boost his sales bcuz mexican and latinos love them some boxing. they are a big reason why mayweather fights on those dates and has amazing numbers. latinos are a huge part of that

Ahaha what a joke Chocha is. No wonder they got these numbers.

Now i guess this shit will force Schaefer to put that overrated clown at all points in front of Lara for the final discredit.

Solid numbers. I think this will motivate GBP to keep Canelo on PPV as much as they can.

one can only hope they don't do that bcuz that card was a POS. all mismatches and a fixed main event. I'm a huge boxing fan and thats the only reason i bought this fight but the main event was horrible and so fake

thats because there hasnt been a fight that really captures the peoples attention. if canelo keeps lookin good and fights lara and keeps winning, he will only get better in my opinion.

I remember reading someone who stated that Canelo was going to get around 3 million dollars extra for each 100,000 of PPV sold (which would be a whopping 30 USD for each PPV). Alvarez before the PPV count received only 1.25 millions (of which he gave 100K to Angulo for raising the weight limit), thus if the PPV share statement is true then Saul should be making around 12 million which would be really a lot.

The best way to attract a lot of people is to cast a large net, you attract different groups you get better numbers than just focusing on 1 group, there are a couple ways to do that but you still need a star that attracts multiple groups on their own.

Canelo is a pretty big star to an important sector of fans but does he attract beyond that, maybe hardcore fans which would be a second group but what does he really do to attract a following on the east coast or mid-west.

350k+ is great when you consider this was a fight that was not casting a wide net and very focused on a specific fan group (albeit one of if not the largest fan group to draw from).
