If you look at PAC's punches in the video, it's similar in intensity and speed to how Provodnkov is throwing punches now. Hard and Fast.

Though PAC threw very fast, powerful combos against Rios,... I think it's just a notch below to how he was throwing them against Cotto.

Could he regain that form? I'm not sure. Depends how hungry he is and if he's focused and intent on "finishing" off his opponent.

that's what the ped testing was all about.

you can argue pac was on roids or scared or tests or whatever.

but floyd asked for those because he was scared.
I thought the ped testing was in response to Manny requesting 10 mil per lb overweight.

I've never said Manny was on anything-only that his actions-"i'm scared of needles", lying about the days out he gave blood before the Hatton fight, trying to negotiate a cutoff date, and the "drawing blood weakens me"-made him look guilty.

If it makes manny seem better and justifies his poor decision making for you-cool. You are entitled to your opinion. The sad thing is everything you said about floyd sr. and roger's statements are spot on.

why can't you be as spot on when it comes to manny and his camp?

Pac looked outstanding. But, I believe if he fought a Cotto that wasn't in a losing period in his career and that was comfortable, it would have been a totally different story. Good win for Manny, but it was not a great win.

i honestly think floyd came back to fight pac specifically. but pac-cotto scared them.

if pac had not looked so good, we would have seen pac-floyd already.

ali said far worse about frazier and he didn't refuse to fight. Cotto called margs a cheater he didn't walk away from the rematch.
Manny didn't walk away. Floyd did. Manny called his bluff and said "I'll do you fake test, but I have my own stipulations for testing too". Floyd walked when he realized Manny wanted input on the rules as well.

i don't think it was response to that.

i think they were scared pac was on roids.

they don't have a high opinion of pac.

delahoya they reasoned was just shot.

                hatton they reasoned just ******.

the cotto fight they couldn't explain.

it wasn't scared of manny per se, they thought floyd style can beat pac ( i do too)

they were scared pac was on roids.

manny never said he was afraid of needles, that was old man bob, manny also never refused random blood test, he asked for a cut off, now u can stop reaching. with floyd we dont have to make anything up, floyd does it all for us already LOL.
