Cause he said hes not fighting above welter after Marg. Remember that, or was that before your time?

Floyd knew Cotto was slower and war torn at 154 so he fought him there, the flowmos all said why should pac rematch Cotto its a **** fight when Pac and coto were about to rematch they said whatever weight they fight Pac beats him they called it a cherry picked recycle fight wiht a WASHED up cotto.

Than all of a sudden Floyd signs on to fight Cotto their tune changed, they said Cotto was FRESH all of a sudden he was no longer washed up lol or war torn.

Than Floyd drains Canelo bad, and they justify it saying its okay because he is BIG haahh that just makes it worse if he is big that means it will affect him, they were the same ones hating on Pacman non stop for his win over Cotto, not even any Puerto Rican hated on Pac that long these guys were repeating weight drained for years.

When Marquez knocked Pac out cold, the Mexicans only celebrated for a few days, the Flowmos celebrated like they won the lotto, even making fun of Pacman, they went ham. As if the boogeyman was captured and they breathed a sigh of relief. I never seen so many cowards celebrate a victory as if their fighter won.

Cotto said differently. But the cotto that fought Pac hadn't been beaten up by Margs plaster.

Canelo and Cotto looked the same.

I don't remember how he looked. I'd have to see.

Come on guys, lets put aside who we like and be honest. Both fight negotiations were prolonged because weight was being finalized. If floyd or Manny thought they didn't need the CW they wouldn't have made such an issue of it.

Just like you guys think cotto loses if the fight was at 147, I think Canelo loses at 154. For all of us we will never really know what effect having to lose 2 more pounds (and, if you wrestled or boxed you guys know the last pounds are the hardest to lose) had on either fighters preparation.

Lol Cotto is a fat slow junior middleweight. 140-147 is his best class where he spent most of his career, he was much faster at this weight. Slow Cotto could time and fight at his pace against Mayweather. 2009 Pac fought at 80mph for 12 rounds, Mayweather would not be able to handle the relentlessness.

Don't forget what he did to Hatton, who beat Malignaggi with ease (a very underrated fighter), completely decimated him, handspeed was like some special effects shet you see in the movies.... he's still faster than 98% of welterweights that just shows you how much of a freak he is.

If it doesn't affect Cotto then why does it matter? That's a pathetic excuse. You know draining weight affects a fighter it's common sense.

I'm not saying your opinion here is wrong. I'll just remind you that both Miguel and Manny walked away from the fight back then.

Huh? didn't they reach an agreement on everything after this only to have manny walk away because team floyd accussed him of being a PED cheater.
