"He’ll begin a two-month training camp in Madrid early next month and spend the final four weeks of camp in Miami."

April & May in Madrid, then four weeks in Miami; hope he still makes it to the fight.

I wouldn't be at all concerned with Sergio's health or conditioning going into the fight. He is not like most fighters. In fact he is very much like Mayweather is. He is a thoroughbred amongst stallions. Sergio has no right being as energetic and athletic as he is at Super Middleweight, bouncing around the ring like he's a spry 13 year old boy and fighting with his hands down at his side. Lets not forget that he's doing it at the age of 38-40 against MUCH younger men who cannot keep up with him. It's actually a good thing that he's been off for a while, to let his body heal from damages so he can go in and really give it his all. Sergio's skill set doesn't get rusty over a year, just like Mayweather's didn't. Only age can eventually catch up with them down the road.

That's the feeling I get too. I hope he's completely healthy and not a broken down shadow of himself.

Not to question him or anything like that because only he knows how he feels, but every fighter says that or something along those lines.

No fighter is ever saying they feel broke or they are concerned about previous events, because you don't want to put that sort of stuff out there for both the public to question which related to sales ($$$$) and you don't want your opponent knowing you have issues (it is much easier to hide or fake something if your opponent has to actually figure out it is an issue which can take a number of rounds)

Hope it goes forward, but I don't think anyone will be surprised if this fight gets postponed/cancelled due to a training camp injury.

It is very possible that Martinez could re-injure again. At the end of his fight against Chavez were reported knee problems and a broken hand and he had surgery. He took on Murray 7 1/2 months later but looked horrible during the fight and honestly I thought he lost that fight and we heard again about problems with the knees and broken hand. This time it would be more than a year after his last fight vs. Murray but I wouldn't be surprised if he injures while training or even if he fights in June he may end like Foreman quitting due to health problems. I think Cotto and his team knew this and that is the reason they gladly accepted to face Sergio since he is getting more health problems while aging.
