Heavyweights seem to have gotten bigger but lost skill

It's true, but there is light at the end of the title. That light is called Tyson Fury. Hope for the HW division.Comment

Parker is great fun to watch, dodgy defence at the moment but he has great power and speed. To be honest I don't see Joshua being the savior of the division that people make him out to be! If you're looking for a well schooled up and coming heavyweight look at Joseph Parker, the kid from New Zealand...
Skill wise there are some good heavies out there! The Klitschko's without doubt, david Haye if he ever fights again! solis if fit, but I don't have any hope for the guy any more! Mike Perez, when in the frame of mind and Bryant Jennings are all very good..
I'd add Malik Scott too, but he's the Zab Judah of the heavyweight division in my eyes...
On the Wlad/Lepaei (sp?) card aint he?Comment

And yet the HW division isn't the worst division in boxing anymore. The sport basically has pockets of talent with several wasteland divisions. Too many weightclasses. If more CW's moved up, like Haye, Adamek did then there'd be more skillz n movement.Comment

What is it that you don't like about Joshua?
Haven't seen much of Joseph Parker but I'll keep an eye out. He's the Samoan kid, right?Comment

Can we call this the Income inequality....hrrr I mean Skill inequality. Have the 1% got all the skills, discipline and superior genetics while the working class 99% stiffs are OCCUPYING the heavyweight division and are too lazy, entitled and intellectually inferior to do anything about it.
It's simple, get rid of the Affirmative action for Boxers and merge the Cruiserweight and Heavyweight division, instead of calling for a Super-Heavyweight division which would ruin the sport even further and the devalue the history of the Heavyweight Title. Bring up some 200 pounders who are the 1950's equivalent to a Heavyweight anyway. They're faster, leaner and have some discipline as they too are required to make weight like the smaller divisions.Last edited by cupocity303; 03-13-2014, 07:44 PM.Comment
