While I like the fight because both are coming off losses, and because I obviously like my boy Alvarado getting this chance.......
It's sad as hell to see Marquez, who's one of the best of his era, blatantly avoid fighting the guy who beat Alvarado, which was Provonikov.
Not only that, but couldn't Marquez fight any legit Top 10 147 fighters????
I guess not. It's sad that aside from Pacquiao and Bradley, Marquez has fought horrid competition since 2010....absolutely horrid for his level of greatness.
I mean he's fighting guys like Fedchenko, Ramos, and now Alvarado (though he's a legit Top 10 fighter at 140, it's absolutely not a legit fight for JMM).....and people really want to complain about other guys fighting certain people???
Marquez is the ****ing man, and he's an ATG in my book. But aside from Pac and Bradley, his career has been a bit of a joke the last 3-4 years.

Marquez Has Become Such A Real Puzzy Since His Lucky Punch On Pacquiao
Knows he was behind on all scorecards, just got dropped by Pac in the 5th , was out of gas when he landed a Hail Mary, whined after losing to Bradley, been complaining about the judges, begging for a Bradley rematch because Bradley can't hurt him, Pacquioa will knock him out in a 5th fight. He wouldn't fight Provo who called him out, still won't extend one rematch to Pac who gave him 4 fights, and now settles for Alvarado who's never beaten anyone and was just stopped at home by Provo. Tired of hearing from JMM and this Alvarado fight is ******.
