    fixed fights: over/under theories

the most blatant of these fixes was the DeLaHoya-Campas fight where Campas' trainer threw in the towel about 1 minute after the "over" bet went thru....but what are some otehrs that u guys can think of???

Popo Freitas quit only 6 seconds before the "over" bet would have gone thru (10.5 rds) in his fight with Chico Corrales, not as blatant as the Campas fix but pretty sketchy either way

    got any others???

Reason I say this is because if Duran bet on himself so he wouldn't end up having to fight in Panama again for peanuts.

Zivic - Lamotta was fixed also.

Well a mob boss in Brooklyn admitted to fixing a Duran fight and making hundreds of millions of dollars from the fight. So Duran for sure. I have theories on many other fights but there just is no proof.

Most profile fights where a fighter quits due to some unknown injury is usually a fix. Off the top of my head, I know for a FACT that Zivic - LaMotta, Ali - Liston I and II, Louis - Conn II, Graziano - Green, and Dempsey - Flynn.

I don't think it that was fixed. It does look su****ious but I give Delahoya the benefit of the doubt. If anything Delahoya just found a way to quit before catching the beating Hopkins was starting to put on him.

John Ruiz just got his ass handed to him in 19 secs. Why would you want to throw a fight by take some vicious punches from a guy who hits as hard as Tua?
