An underprepared Vitalli showing his greatness against a prime Lewis in top form and beating him. He was winning when he lost, so be didn't lose. Even better than when he beat Byrd for 9 rounds. He would have won if he didn't quit.
Calzaghe showing his greatness by facing a prime Hopkins at Hopkins best division and displaying his amazing accuracy and punching technique. Imagine if Joe wasn't past his prime, it would have been a slaughter.
Amir khan showing his iron chin against the hardest puncher in the sport, marcos Maidana. Everyone said khan would lose but he put on a beautiful display of defense and footwork. He was so accurate too and showed the fastestest hands since hector camacho man. But camacho ran like a girl against Rosario, a poor man's Maidana. Khan fought like man and dominated except when he got punchedComment

I've got to go further back than 20 years.....
Marvelous Marvin Hagler KO's Thomas the Hitman Hearns ! While severely cut and needing knockout before the ref had a chance to call the fight off....
Evander the real deal Holyfield taking out Iron Mike Tyson !!! That fight was so overdue.... After Mike's mentor died, so did his focus.... Would have loved to see how this one would of played out had he lived.......
Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. Gets a standing KO over Meldrick Taylor...... This was such a shocking ending, don't look at your corner !!!! Look at Richard Steele and you win....
Honorable mention....... Kostya Tszu's KO of Zab Judah..... It was just hilarious..... Judah was prime, undefeated and talking smack (Like many boxers do)..... He gets Knocked down hard and instead of collecting himself as the round was ready to end,,,,,, Zab gets up to quickly trying to show the ref he was OK, falls down again and gets up staggering while unbalanced and yelling at the ref who was still counting and gets waved off.... Then goes crazy on the ref..... All he had to do was take the knee for a 8 count and stand there while the round ends, walk to the corner and regroup......Comment

Off the top of my head:
1) Amir Khan winning his first world title without a question. Realization of a dream. Always knew he was the truth.
2) Manny Pacquiao getting Knocked out. Not that i wish it on someone, but Marquez deserved the 3rd one without an argument and finally he won "on paper". He won the 2nd one too.
3) Naseem Hamed getting exposed.
Share????
Vazquez/Marquez 1
Floyd Koing Hatton
I'm lying-my real favorites were Salido Juanma 1, Salido JUanma 2, and Mikey G JuanMaComment

1) Witnessing, live, Whitaker's out pointing of Chavez Sr (one of my favourite ever pugilists) and the deafening silence of the crowd. I could hear my colleagues stomachs rumbling, it was THAT quiet, in a stadium which was packed to the rafters and extremely loud at the start.
2) Holyfield stopping Tyson, yet another fight I covered was terrific. Holyfield had spent so much of his career at heavyweight as the underdog and was continuously denied iconic moment after iconic moment. But here he was, facing the most feared fighter of his time, quite possibly the most feared fighter in the history of the sport. Holyfield won because he was smarter and refused to be bullied. Unlike Spinks, Holmes and several others before him, Holyfield knew he could win and was not scared to fight fire with fire.
3) Barrera v Morales 1, two of my favourite fighters going at it. It was a tense build up, with both men showing their dislike for one another. When the bell rang, the pre-fight hate built up into a terrific, all action bout at the highest possible level. This ranks alongside the likes of Ali/Frazier 3, Norton/Holmes, Hearns/Leonard and Oscar/Mosley as one of the finest bouts in history.Comment
