    1) tito / vargas

    2) mab / hamed

    3) castillo / corrales

You can interchange any of those fights, honestly. All classics.

Lost my voice as I screamed and jumped up and down like a little girl when the great Marquez finally slayed the beast known as Manny. . . Watching that punk @ss Barrera's face after Marquez kod Manny is priceless

This is probably the fight that I watch the most. Morales was not going to take a L that night. As much as Manny tried to impose his ferocious will Morales came back with more. Morales is the ultimate show man from resent times

No explanation needed here. . . What a fcking fight

I'm not even going to bother pointing out the irony of a Khan fan throwing out terms like "exposed" with regards to more accomplished fighters then himself losing to a fighter on a level Khan's never come even remotely close to competing at, because I don't think for me minute you're genuinely a Khan fan. Just an annoying little pissant who's only capable of contributing to a boxing forum when trolling is involved.
How the hell do you know im not a genuine Khan fan? Just because people have a different view to yours doesnt mean they are trolls though its a common word on this board to yap out when their guy is being criticized, but its all cheers and joy when its someone else. Damn you must be a miserable person having problem with someone having a contrasting view to yours.

Naseem Hamed's career was no different to that of Joe Calzaghe's. The difference is Hamed was a KO artist so it was exciting and came to States earlier. Otherwise if you look at the fighters he beat they have good records coming in, but they themselves were padded up for the most part. Hamed was a good fighter, but his biggest wins are:

          1) Kevin Kelley
          2) Wayne Mc Cullough
          3) Wilfredo Vasquez (over the hill)

Did he come back from his first loss?

Khan has been KOed twice and he too couldve stayed in UK and win a title and milk it for 20 defenses become that sort of an ATG instead he keeps getting up and coming back.

Oh and unlike most boxing fans ive boxed as an amateur, so i know what im talking about.

I wonder if Jones is shown a replay of it and he will yell out "Hee nahh genn up jaym hee nahh genn up" Still an amazing guy and a fighter. Much respect but he should give it up already i feel for his health.

That Marquez one was justice for him for being screwed over and over.

            That was a classic performance.

dang good thread lots of memories here.

              1. Marquez knocking Pacquiao out cold: This is the most epic moment for me in all the years I have watched boxing, this is the highlight that I will still playback when I'm an old man, too many amazing things about this. For one I am one of the many firm believers that Marquez won ALL of the previous fights, although very close but they were wins especially the 3rd which was the most controversial one, and so Marquez did what he had to do he got the KO to leave no controversy and no doubts. EPIC. Justice was served that night.

              2. Vasquez/Marquez Trilogy: To me, this is a trilogy. I completely block out their fourth fight from my mind that was a fiasco that taints this epic series. I remember ShowTime had aird a special a few times were they played all 3 fights and in between rounds they would cut to Marquez and Vasquez both sitting in their respective rooms watching the fight and analyzing it for themselves, seeing mistakes they made and commenting on them, some of the best television viewing ever right there, great great fights. great times

              3. Margarito/Cotto: This would have been my number 2 moment if it hadn't been tainted with controversy. Even still, this was a night I will never forget either, the 24/7 build up for this was stellar and this fight didn't even need that hype, it was already an exciting fight for me. The intensity going into this fight, and everyone believing that Margarito was going to get a beating, and he did get a beating, but in the end he outlasted Cotto and the stoppage itself was an amazing sight. Cotto blasted Margarito with everything but tha kitchen sink, and yet Margarito ate them punches up and destroyed him in the end. Me and my family went nuts.

Of course, the mayhem that would ensue several months later when Margarito was implicated in some kind of hand wraps controversy and then subsequently getting demolished by Mosley, I was just as shocked as I was embarrassed for Margarito.

Nonetheless, I got to say these years been flying by way too fast. You never realize your living through some historic moments in such a great sport until you look back on certain fights and realize... wow that happened 8 years ago now 0_0 dang

                1) Pavlik KOing Taylor was great.
                2) Broner getting his beat down was beyond fantastic.
                3) Rigondeaux taking Donaire to school was very satisfying.

That fight had me on edge all night. Back and forth action all night, you hurt me I hurt you kinda action.
Have you seen that angle of the Marquez/Pacquiao fight I posted? That punch looks even worse from that angle. Poor Manny jumped right into that "lucky" punch and never saw it coming
