I predict a controversial close decision. Alvarado is a good boxer. He gets in trouble if he chooses to brawl.

If he uses his athleticism to keep moving his feet in and out AROUND marquez (like Bradley did)... he will have a shot. He's certainly capable.

Marquez is doing the same thing when he picked Likar Ramos, Fedchenko . Taking supposed easier fights for the real fight he desires.

Arum probably wants another fight out of Marquez rather than giving him Bradley post the Pac fight. Just retire JMM. No point to keep getting in the ring and taking more damage for crap like this.

Marquez said during his co-host show ESPN "Golpe a Golpes" that it was at a CATCH WEIGHT!

So, he is ducking Provo, going to fight Provo's leftovers and at a catch weight.

He said that he is only going to fight fights that are meaningful to him and that are worth it but what does figthing Alvarado does for him? Nothing.

          Clear duck of Provo.

Oh well, Marquez is past the point where it really matters that much who he fights. This one should have some good action, and it's a great chance for Alvarado so I'm sure he'll show up with whatever he has left.
Yeah, exactly. Clearly he's getting paid a ****load to face Alvarado I mean, he has maybe one more fight left in him after this, if that, so it's about the $ and nothing more at this stage, which is fine with me as he deserves it. But still, I just think there are other fights out there that pose as much, or maybe just a little more risk, but gain so much more if he wins. D. Garcia for one.

                Floyd fan mentality:

Hes at a point in his career where he can do whatever he wants, I mean he did beat Pac FOUR times, got robbed like 6 or 7 times and he did work for it. **** everyone who dont like this

                  Great action fight!

Will be there in person to watch the Great Juan Manuel Marquez aka pac-Tard enemy Number 1

I got to hand it to Marquez this feeling he is talking about I feel it too. Every time their is a thread of him here on bscene

and you get to see the hate from the posters he left with tears on

                  Decemeber 8 2012 Marquezpac-Tards I love it

Loves his piss. Loves his steroids. And definitely loves to duck.

Ducked Khan, Rios and Provodnikov. You can even say he ducked the rematch with Manny.
