What a weird fight. I don't get this one. Both coming off losses yes, but Marquez could have gotten just about anyone he wanted. Most fights against any top opponents are going to be risky for him at his age and with his decline, but this fight?

Marquez made himself look really bad by saying he only wants legacy fights and that's why he won't fight Provodnikov, then turning around and facing the guy Provodnikov just knocked out. If Marquez really didn't want to fight Provodnikov, he could have just said he was only fighting at 147.

You don't get it? Marquez has "got the feeling"

I guess it's an okay fight for both these guys coming off losses. Marquez beats Rado by KO in this one.

he's going for the highest chance of a W, so he can go after Timmeh later this year

one more loss at this stage and the pressure to retire could be unbearable

If he losses to Alvarado he can kiss a rematch with the Manny/Bradley winner; wait nevermind that doesn't matter if he loses.
