Who's a bigger puncher: Miguel Cotto or Canelo Alvarez?

I think Saul has more physical muscle-you-around strength than Cotto (maybe).

    But...

Miguel is the bigger puncher, by a little bit.

    To be fair...

Cotto has some good muscle-you-around strength himself.

Cotto hasn't been a big puncher since 140 lbs
he was big for that division and had a killer punch
since then, his power has been ineffectual in fights
and at JMW or MW, he really has no punching power anymore
Alvarez was big for WW and is big for JMW
he's definitely more of a puncher now than Cotto is

        Hard to measure.

Sample size too small for Cotto.

Alvarez has fought samples that were too small.

        Can't quantify.

Canelo showed good pop and stamina at 155. I wonder if he'll be even stronger and have more energy at 160.

Because he can't keep pulling this 155 ****.

****'s unprofessional. It's almost Chavez Jr. tier.

WTF are you talking about. It IS Chavez Jr. tier.

Mofo should move up to 160 if he can't make 154.

Cotto could rely on his boxing skills when most of the power stayed at one-forty.

              Canelo has boxing skills, too.

              Both guys can crack.

                Yeah...

Chavez Jr. weighed 4.5 lbs over the super middleweight limit.

Whereas Canelo just weighed one pound over the weight limit.

Regardless, it's very unprofessional. He had an unfair advantage. A lot of gamblers were assed out that night.

Canelo probably. . . Miguel's a left handed orthadox, I can't imagine his right hand being anything special. Has a good left hook and jab though
