I have already seen other posts summing up much of what I have been talking about such Danny's shallow, contrived, obvious publicity stunt and how he comes off as desperately seeking support from people he has nothing in common with outside of DNA type. Some people are actually dumb enough to fall for his little rep act. Others are not so ******. Live with it.

Whats wrong is it is an obvious PR stunt to harvest Puerto Rican fans late in the game and it looks desperate, shallow, transparent, lacking originality, put on, obvious, spun entirely for selfish purposes, rather than genuine, lacking a real connection based on an absence of the multitude of commonalities, and instead of just one disconnected commonality, contrived. He doesn't realize that the more you try to get approval, the less likely you are to get it. He has no clue about the Island's heritage, the lifestyle, the language, the social patterns, the close-nit community, its history, it's broad culture.
Its not a big deal, marketing often goes for the lowest common denominator. If he ends up fighting Floyd, he better bring something to the table. PR loves boxing, but are at a low point now with zero belt holders AFAIK. So the timing is good
