I may be dense, but I don't see how Gamboa asking for much more money than Mikey (the champion and bigger draw) would be getting means that Mikey is ducking Gamboa.

And if you are gonna criticize Mikey's opposition, look at what Gamboa has done over the last two years.

There are several excuses to avoid a fight with a Cuban.
1.- Saying his style is boring.
2.-saying his turn is not yet and he has to wait even when he is the best opponent
3.- Saying they want to fight but offering lower purse than others as an humiliation.
Anyway I'll love to see the fight. I'll like Gamboa accept once a lower purse and make the fight against this slow punching bag and let's see. I hope Gamboa is only pressing for a more fair purse and at the end accept. I want to see real fights, not like the one last weekend

I have zero problem with Cuban fighters or their styles, but some of their "fans" make them mighty hard to like.

Gamboa was on ESPN "A Los Golpes" last night and he called out Garcia on his BS!

Gamboa stated that he will fight for "which ever amounth" Garcia wanted. He will take the 500K that Garcia's team offered and fight any place where Garcia wanted (Los Angeles).

By the way, I DISLIKE Gamboa but I call it as I see it and it was legit!
