Everyone was waiting for the Angulo who fought Lara to show up, and since he never did are looking for an explanation. The truth is Lara always allowed Perro to get his shots off first particularly to the body while Lara threw a left or a jab and moved around the ring. Angulo looked like **** for the first 3 rounds but he warmed up because Lara never threw to the body or landed combinations to make him second guess his agression. Not only did Canelo go to the body repeatedly but he also let his hands go first. If your the aggressor against a brawler then that guy is going to look like a shell of himself on top of the fact your landing body shots at will.

Marquez is simply stating what many fans saw live. El perro "desprovecho tirando golpes solo para marcar" perro messed up his biggest opportunity throwing arm punches. Nothing but truth in that statement.
Whether JMM feels the fight was fixed is another story.

no fix at all. canelo was too fast, skilled and powerful for him. he was able to land power shots at will and the ones to the body took everything out of perro, he kept trying but he didnt have the strength anymore.
if he was going to throw the fight i doubt he would have taken such a beating along the way. i also doubt anyone would bother fixing a fight that canelo is more than capable of winning without assistance, which was the case on the night. the fact that kirkland did a similar job on him is further evidence as well.
you can just take it to angulo that way, by forcing him on the back foot and hurting him to the body you can neutralize his power. its a very dangerous strategy but when it pays of it pays of big which was the case in both instances.

Its just his opinion as a spectator. It is what it is.
I disagree but my opinion is just as uncredible as his. Nobody knows what went on behind the scenes but we all hope for the best. Unfortunately boxing is a shady ass business.
