JMM is by far my favorite fighter inside the ring, outside the ring he's shown to be a hypocritical and envious person. He's always talking negatively about Canelo primarily because he never got the same attention as this kid even though he's done plenty more to deserve it.

Earliest beef I remember is when canelo missed weight against hatton and jmm criticized him

Also Floyd Mayweather Sr. implied that it was fix fight.

I'm currently in Mexico and it's amazing hearing how the radio talk shows, and the people in general believe Perro was paid to throw the fight.

You could even see it in the arena, when mexican fans pelted canelo with objects, they knew it right away.

So welcome to the New Era of the WWE thanks to this guys!

Wasn't as obvious as Pac vs Clottey.

idk where the beef between these two stems from but I remember canelo was on a radio show one time and was asked to respond to comments Marquez had made about him - essentially saying he wasn't that good, only fought cans, etc. Canelo said well I would like to fight JMM then and see if I'm that good or something like that

and then out of nowhere the host called Marquez on the spot and asked him to respond and he was like kid, do u know who i am? or something to that effect. I mean they came away that is was all a big 'misunderstanding' but we know how JMM is. Still my fav old fighter still going, but I'm sure he prob still walks around with that

jmm sure does have a hard on for throwing dirt on canelos name. you would think a legend like him would know a bit more about boxing than to call that fight fixed. it obviously wasnt. canelo is just on another level and that was angulo really trying. he just couldnt get anything off against canelo. why dont people realize that?!?? all this talk of the fight being fixed. WHAT THE ****!?! theres no such thing as fixed fights in boxing. the only fixed fight in boxing ive ever seen was that one with danny green. other than that, i dont even think ali-liston 2 was fixed. show me a highlight reel of fixed fights or atleast more than 1 before im willing to consider looking in to calling any fight fixed.

                Read a book clown.

It's called Jacobs Beach. The Mob, The Fights, The Fifties.

I'm not saying Canelo Angulo was fixed; but fixed fights do happen. Mitchell Banks 2 is a recent one

The beef is from JMM wanting to be the most famous and liked current mexican fighter and is most likely upset that a 23 year old kid is

Non one has been able to answer me this: What could team Canelo or Golden Boy possibly offer Angulo that would equal what he would gain if he won this fight?
He beats Canelo at the MGM in front of a packed house and PPV audience he sets himself up for some serious paydays.
I would even go so far as to say he would be a front runner to fight Mayweather in September coming off this big win.
You really think Golden Boy would be able to match that for him to take a dive?

it kills me inside to know that fixed fights could be happening. that just irks the **** out of me. that being said, i think seth mitchell vs. banks 2 is the most clear one out of the bunch. i dont think canelo-angulo was fixed. i dont even know if banks-mitchell was fixed. i dont want to believe it, cmon boxing!!
