Good fight. Maybe after watching the Santa Cruz vs. Mijares fight Moreno seen a ***** in Santa Cruz's armor. If nothing else, Moreno is decent practice for Santa Cruz to get ready for Rigondeaux. I hope it happens.

Exactly, this is not a good fight for Moreno.

I see what you guys are saying but Mares made it an in your face in-fight all the way and Moreno did not have the chance to use his reach. Against SC, he will have that chance to use his reach because SC does not fight an entire fight in-fighting. However the volume of SC will possibly overcome that and win a UD. Not enough power from Moreno to stop SC's forward motion even momentarily and the inability to come from behind and catch SC are slim to none. Moreno is a pure boxer, highly skilled and a hell of a chin as seen with Darchinyan and Mares but his power shortcoming hurts his ability to get past the best. Even Rigo has more power to go with the slickness.

Moreno needs to stay in his little dwarf division, Mares basically just swarmed him to a UD and never let him use his skills because he had no power to keep Mares honest.

Moreno would give this fraud a Darchinyan like beat down.

Moreno's been coming through since they rejected that Donaire fight. I bet he could've won that one too. I'm glad he's been getting into these big matches.

I'd rather see Santa Cruz fight Frampton next. Moreno's one fight at 122 lbs. didn't go so well, he just wasn't big enough for the division.

Agree. Moreno is not as physically gifted as Rigo, but comparably skilled. If LSC can handle him easily, I will like his chances against Rigo.

And to those who hold the Mares loss against Moreno:

                    1) it was a close fight that could have gone either way, especially with a fair ref.

                    2) it's not like Mares was some bum. He was a top 3 122 pounder at the time, and one of the best pressure fighters in the game.
