That said, I doubt Pulev makes mega purses himself. How much was johnson paid for the last Chisora fight? Warren could probably win the bid and bring him over here. If Fury was matched against a decent opponent, throw in Buglioni, Billy joe Saunders, Georgie Kean, Hughie Fury....hell, that would be a very decent card.
Even if Warren wins the purse bid, Pulev doesn't have to fight in England if he doesn't want to. It's an EBU title fight, not an official IBF eliminator. Pulev can turn it down and still remain Wlad's mandatory. So if Warren wants him to come to England, he will have to cough up some major dough.

If he doesn't then he can win with home (ref) advantage. If the fights in London, I think Chisora will win for the same reason.
Disagree. Pulev and Sauerland fancy Pulev's chances against Chisora and who can blame them? He has failed against every top guy with the possible exeption of the one-armed Helenius.

The one doing the 'ducking' would be Chisora in order to preserve a Fury fight.

I doubt Chisora would duck anyone. Nice fight if it happens, i got Pulev by UD.

Warren isn't going to let Chisora in with Pulev when there's a big money domestic scrap planned for the summer.

IMO, Chisora isn't fussed about rematching Fury. He'd rather steal Pulev's mandatory spot and get a crack at Wlad.

And that big stiff European hasn't fought a single top guy unless you count a 50 year old Thompson where he looked **** for most of the fight.

So what do you think happens?

I do not disagree. He looked very stiff, sluggish and rusty.

I'd be surprised if Chisora was seriously considering this fight.

He'd make more money, and probably have a more winnable fight against Fury.

Anyone else think its more likely Chisora is trying to increase his bargaining power for the Fury fight?

There's no "ducking" on either side if they both decide to take bigger fights instead.
