I think Frampton's defense could do with a lot of work. He pulls away with his hands down and Kiko Martinez had no trouble catching him with big shots. I think Cruz's reach, timing and accuracy will mean lands a lot on Carl.

However, Frampton does have big power, and when he sits on his punches rather than moving too much he can slow Cruz' forward momentum with body and head shots. Will he do it? I dont think so. Against MArtinez for the most part he preffered to use lots of movement and bursts of punches. He had more success looking for openings to land bigger single shots imo and maybe him and his team spotted that.

As of now I think Cruz UD

Frampton eats him for breakfast! If Frampton fought the guy who Santa Cruz fought on Saturday he would have had him out of there in 4-6 rounds without a doubt.

the kiko fight was pretty close before Frampton ended it spectacularly and santa cruz is a better boxer than kiko. niether carl or leo are hard to hit, and both can take a bit of punishment. leo doesnt stop throwing punches and carl has a lot of power which I think will be the difference.

itll be a great fight and I cant see it not happening in belfast in the autumn. I reckon Frampton scores a late ko whilst being a couple of rounds down. if leo can take Framptons power he could get a ud

Kiko comes in low has head movement and applies far more effective pressure than Cruz who is slower and more calculated in his approach.

Frampton's footwork is underrated. All people talk about is the kids power and his actual ability gets underlooked. The only advantage Cruz has is size.

Frampton will outbox the slow, flat-footed Cruz and turn him all night. He won't allow him to set

People will probably laugh but do you know who Frampton reminds me of in his style? A small George Groves. Frampton is underrated, hes probably the 2nd best behind Rigo at 122. He will end the Cruz hype.

I'd pick Frampton in a close fight.

Frampton is gonna be in for a rude awakening. Santa Cruz is coming to fight all night and though Frampton has some power it will be depleted from exhaustion and constant pressure , body shots and the mental drain. If Frampton wins he still wants no part of Rigo as he and his team previously stated. I thank even Donaire beats him within four rounds honestly.

Santa Cruz has gotten looks at some diverse styles in his last few fights, and Santa Cruz has fought better competition than Frampton so I'm going with "El Terremoto" by K.O./T.K.O., .

Resumes don't fight in the ring .

Pick'em fight imo, and it would yield a good challenger for Rigo.

The amount of punches Leo throws makes it very hard to win a decision against him, I think.
