Current Maidana is no better than the one Khan already beat, just watch the first round of the Khan fight and you can see that Maidana tried every move and technique against Khan that he did against Broner. From ducking low, feinting to the body while going to the head (the punch that caused the first knockdown on Broner) to using the jab, to wide peripheral shots, Maidana is the same fighter. He's actually not quite as good now because he's been in a few wars since Khan beat him. You're buying into the hype thinking he's somehow improved.
i'll go to watch round 1, you watch round 10, that fight happened almost 4 years ago, khan is done, why this is so dificult to acept? he is getting KO'd in his next fight, assuming he will fight someone with a pulse and not another diaz or molina. maidana has improved, like it or not, khan has been getting worse and worst after every fight.

Maidana hasn't improved at all, it's just wishful thinking on your part. He uses the same techniques now that he did in the Khan fight. I mentioned the first round because you can clearly see all the same moves he used in the Broner fight, he used against Khan from the first bell. Broner was just an overrated fighter who should have had a number of losses already (against Ponce De Leon and Paulie). And remember Maidana was unable to put Khan down in the fight, even when he landed some bombs clean, while Khan put Maidana on his @ss.

you say is wishful thinking? so khan hasn't got awful within the last 3 years? he still is the same guy? no matter how much punishment he took from marcos, danny, peterson, diaz?
like it or not maidana has gone north while khan't has gone south. wishful thinking is saying that khan will beat maidana again, saying he has a chance at floyd and is the most dificult fight of the 2 is basicaly ******

So if floyd stops maidana, he'd be the first person to do it.

Tell me how the **** floyd is "supposed" to stop someone whos never been stopped before?

Now if you were to tell me floyd is supposed to stop khan, who has been stopped twice and has been hurt in ever basically every fight he's been in with someone someone who has ANY kind of pop on his punches, then yea thats fine.

But even then I think if khan and mayweather do fight, when khan starts getting his ass beat by mayweather within the first 4 rounds and realizes theres no way in hell he's going to win, he'll start to run from mayweather and survive the rest of the fight. So I don't think floyd would stop khan.

Personally though, i think he will stop maidana. But get the **** out of here with that "floyd should" bull**** because we all know floyd isn't a big puncher and maidana's never been stopped before, so why say "if floyd doesn't stop maidana he's a bum"

I don't understand how you could hate on a man that you know will not be beaten because he's too good and the only way you can possibly hate on him is "well he didn't get the knockout".

He's so damn good people want him to move up to 160 (I don't even think floyd has ever weighed 160 at any point in his life) and fight the lineal champ there to "prove" hes truly the best. What the ****? Most lightweights walk around heavier than floyd does and you want him to FIGHT at middleweight? I mean are you serious....
Corrales and Hatton were never stopped before the fought Floyd

Khan already beat Maidana clearly, it wasn't even a very close fight or a split decision. Khan is clearly the better fighter, it's wishful thinking saying Maidana would have any chance against him. We already know what happened so there's no point in dreaming or fantasizing - just use reality as a reference and say out loud "Khan beat Maidana". Get over the denial and admit the truth.

As far as going south, well that's a matter of opinion. People refer to the Diaz fight and forget that Diaz drew with Shawn Porter in their first fight (many thought Diaz won that fight) and look now Porter is a 147 champion. Diaz is a very good fighter when he comes fully prepared but Khan still beat him.

Put it another way - Diaz would beat Broner the same way Maidana did - both Diaz and Maidana are about the same level, a few notches below Khan. There's no guarantee that Maidana could beat Diaz that would probably be a 50-50 fight.

diaz wouldn't beat broner and khan would get KO'd by broner. khan maidana was a close fight, khan didn't beat maidana the way maidana beat broner for example, that's a wide victory. khan never want to give maidana a rematch. and yes, khan career is going south, they put diaz in front of him to make him look good but instead he managed to look like shit and he almost got KO'd. don't tell me that that fight was suposed to be a step up, because it wasn't, it was a tune up fight that almost went wrong

Could happen, I'd give him a 25% chance of knocking maidana out. fights going the distance though, floyd UD. nothing else to really say
