I'm not saying that I favor any style because I really don't, and styles make fights too takes two to tango, but quality cant be denied no matter the style. What i really cant stand and find incredibly boring are mismatches but those usually end quickly thank God, or we would all feel like I felt watching Mijares vs Cruz last night I was just hoping Mijares would trip and fall asleep anything, but the main event gets a pass in my book because nobody expected Angulo to pity pat from the second the bell started I don't think even Canelo expected that.

Such situations are usually avoided when ppv is the best facing the second best etc the other fights can be great match making. It used to be that way idk wtf is up with this new model that they are trying to get us to pay for... nothing is more exciting than a competitive fight or even a fight that you know can be turned any second . PPV events will soon loose the event feel.

Honestly those fights were so one sided I felt bad for Mijares after the 5th round I was hoping his corner was going to throw in the towel, Linares vs Arakawa was the only decent fight even thought Linares was clearly winning he was fighting a guy who actually did not just come for a paycheck he was coming to win and throwing back but he was just outclassed. Canelos' brother had no business in the ring with Thompson and it showed and Canelo's brother is literally a journey man fighter at best. Canelo really impressed and Angulo laid a big egg and stunk up the show he didn't even try to throw punches or any meaningful punches anyway and Canelo was teeing off on him and he wasn't trying to move or block or anything I was glad when they finally stopped that fight because it was ridiculously one sided and damn near inhumane to watch. That damn card had no business being a PPV and should have been on showtime. I am glad I streamed it because if I would have payed my $60 I would have been pissed.
