I seen no reason to explain the it they made the right decision; nobody outside of a 20 Nautical Mile radius cares about Khan Mr 1.4 million followers could only muster up 55k votes. He's lucky if he get's a pot on the undercard he's barely earned that.

People love to ignore that Khan lost on other polls.. and there is a reason for it... Khan is PURE garbage. That POS couldn't even beat a green Garcia who admits he doesn't want any of Floyd. Didn't he pretty much say the same thing JMM did??? lol

And some people love to bring up irrelevant points to support their dumb logic. Why the hell does it even matter or mean if Maidana won on unofficial polls?

If this was Maidana who won the official poll and Khan on all the unofficial ones would you have still said the same thing?

What is not disputable is the fact that most people wanted Floyd to fight Maidana, even if Khan had a better style to make things difficult for a few rounds. Add up all the polls and Maidana was in the lead. Anyone who tries to argue that is using selective pieces of information over the body of information. Floyd chose the body of information over his particular polls and that was the right choice. The right fighter got the next shot at Floyd. Maidana earned it.

Floyd's question is the same as asking my son if he wants to eat spinach or broccoli?

My son would respond broccoli but that is not the response you would get if you asked my son "what is your favorite food that you want to eat?"

Real question would have been:
"Out of any active fighter in boxing (at 147-154), who should Floyd fight next?"

Probably because Richard "Weasel" Schaefer desperately wanted Floyd to pick Khan instead. They have a good working relationship, so Floyd probably couldn't just tell him to **** off with idea of Khan deserving the fight. He had to take Khan into consideration as well. Richard was even more pissed off than Khan, but he knows where his bread is buttered and remained professional about Floyd's decision.

Not to mention the other unofficial polls had a lot more voters than the official poll did.

Mayweather made the right choice. Maidana is toast on fight night, but he's a better choice right now than Khan's undeserving ass.

yeah I would have voted in the official poll for maidana but it had some kind of ****** **** you had to sign up for so I wasnt bothering with that.
