Only delusional Khan ****** are upset. Everybody else knows Maidana is a much better opponent with much better wins and much better performances in recent fights.

He's also a current world champion.
Fights and beats a guy who got a gift decision over Paulie and who shouldn't be at 147, suddenly becomes a legit option/credible fight.

too me, its a credible fight because of the options mayweather has. but it doesnt mean it will be an interesting fight at all. it will be the most lopsided floyd fight in years.

So it is somehow Khan's fault he is a superstar with 1 million fans on fb and twitter each? Also apparently according to you he wasnt suppose to use his fanbase to promote his cause, but sit quietly hoping they will notice. Brilliant.

Promotional Power? I thought Maidana was promoted by GBP.

Why in the world would Khan want to promote unofficial polls when its the "official" poll that counts?

So he shouldve also promoted a poll i created on Facebook too right?

I made a whole thread about this.

I think wins and losses should be looked as to what they meant at the time of the fight. So even though I dont like Calzaghe when he beat Lacy it meant a big deal as Lacy was suppose to be a 168 pound Tyson. Now its not Calzaghe's fault he turned out to be a hype job.

It's not like Floyd is some romantic figure for people and him wasting one of his last few fights ever on a slow, unathletic foe like Maidana is some great travesty. Let the people who talk about Maidana "earning" it and "deserving" it pay the $70 for the PPV. The rest of us could really care less.

He was always fighting Maidana because it's the easier fight. Khan could have won by a billion votes, it wouldn't have mattered.

Is that so? The entertainment factor in viewing a boxing match doesn't matter? Sorry but we've already seen Floyd utterly dominate fighters with average or less than average footspeed. The way in which the "styles makes fights" argument has been dismissed isn't just a fallacy it's a ****ing joke. The people who don't understand the tactical-forensic sides of boxing are exposing themselves.
