What Schafer is saying is they will first try to find some fairly well known but beatable opponent, like Molina, to put in the ring with Alvarez before they consider Lara. People on this message board who are riding Alvarez's coattails and claiming that he will KO Lara have all forgotten that Schafer did not want to make Alvarez/Trout because he was afraid Alvarez would lose. He will also try to avoid making Alvarez/Lara for the same reason. Molina is willing to fight him and therefore, Molina is next for Alvarez, not Lara.

Yah except Canelo is way better than lara in every way. Better defense, more punching power, throws combinations, can fight inside. He does everything lara does except run, and is 10x better.
