To beat Winky, Taylor will hafta bring in an amazing gameplan. He'll have to be a pressure fighter - because there ain't a chance in hell that he'll outbox Winky. Just because of his style.

Taylor's strongest weapon is his laser stiff Jab. Winky just happens to have that same weapon - whats their reaches? Winky has long-ass arms but i can't remember exact measurements. EIther way, either their even-ish in jabs, or Winky's arms might even be longer, so Winky has the advantage.

The fight would go as such-

Taylor Jabs with his left. Winky turtles it. Winky returns with a right jab. Taylor gets hit.

The whole fight will consist of the above ^. Taylor will have to stop being a boxer and become a fighter and bring it to winky to win, because he doesn't have speed on winky, he doesnt have reach on winky, he doesn't have skill on winky. Winky has better D, similar jab, and he's got an advantage in that he's a southpaw. I think taylor will have a hard fight.

      Isn't Taylor fighting Soliman first?

Styles make fights and Taylors style vs. Wrights styles = Wright decision

Of course there's a big difference between Soliman and Taylor because Taylor is a more rounded fighter than Soliman. And if Taylor can find a way to outpoint a very smart and sleek fighter in Bhops I don't think he'll have problem solving Winky's riddle.

Winky is a very good defensive fighter Bro. but defense won't give you points it's the aggresiveness and the ability to land clean shots that counts and will always be appreciated not only by the judges but by whole boxing public.

IMO, Wright will put forth a much better display of talent than a 40 year Bernard Hopkins did in those two fights. It's become so taboo to call Wright just a defensive fighter and to stop there. He's Top 5 P4P for a reason, you don't win the admiration of boxing fans by simply ONLY having a good defense. Wright knows how to straight embarrass fighters with his overall skill level. Winky Wright is not just a defensive fighter, i guarentee he'll land clearer shots than Taylor will, he's got the better jab, he's better poised in the ring, and he has the experience and skill over a green Jermaine Taylor. This is Wright's time now, he deserves it and shouldn't be vilianized by the negotiations here. I don't blame him a bit for wanting to make sure he's getting his rightful share of the money, Hopkins should have fought him before he fought Taylor. Wright has spent the last 10 years of his career, searching for fights, because no one wants to fight him and get outboxed. It's true, credit should be given to Taylor's character simply the fact he's taking this fight in four months without a "down fight", but i feel experience and sheer talent that Wright has will shine past Taylor's small cracks in his arsonal.

Well placed arguement buddy. I don't have problem in Winky winning this fight. If he wins it, he deserves it. I'm simply expecting the younger Taylor to go out there and show some brilliance in dissecting Winky's game plan.

This is going to be real close.

The boring fight of the week.....

Winky covering up, and Taylor occasionally jabbing....

Winky's punches are pretty weak. Jermain's bombs will discourage and stop Soliman.
