I think we can all agree, Canelo would make easy work of Pacquiao

Alvarez looked good last night, it was a nice performance..let's not get carried away though. He faced a very slow, limited fighter in Angulo.
Angulo was picked for a reason.

Pacquiao is past his prime now, but still, drain Alvarez down to 152 again and put him in a ring with Pacquiao, and the fight looks nothing at all like lastnights fight.

Why is Pac even on this dude's mind? Canelo beats Angulo and the first thing that comes to your mind is lets go make a Pac thread?

yes, yes he would. Rios is about as lethargic in a ring as my grandma. He's learned everything he was ever going to achieve. On the other hand Canelo's not even hit his absolute prime yet. I'm pretty certain I caught a little bit of Mayweather in his arsenal last night(spotted a pullcounter, defense was on point) Of course you can do that against Perro but still! There's a reason Pac wanted no part of Cotto at 150!

Exactly, Floyd fans are relentless and they have no shame still in boasting about Floyds win over Canelo when he drained him to a skeleton. They are so deluded that they ignore that fact and pretend it didn't happen.

If canelo was healthy against FLoyd he would have chased him around the ring a hell of a lot more but he was weakened. Don't matter how big Canelo looked fight night, its the 8 week training camp starving himself that did the damage.
To chase FLoyd you need energy and Canelo didn't have it, Floyd knows what hes doing out of the ring more than in it.

Why do you single out Pacquiao???? No one is asking about Pacquiao vs. Canelo. You sound like a guy who doesn't like Pacquiao and you are going out of your way to trash him. Pacquiao could easily fight at lightweight but he fights welterweight so he can eat as much as he wants and not have to dry out to make weight. Pacquiao and his team said quite clearly years ago that he would never again fight at even an ounce over welterweight because he was too small to take the punishment the larger fighters dish out. Canelo showed last night that he would probably make easy work of Lara, Kirkland, Molina and Cotto and lots of other guys that are actually in his weight class. So quit trying to make Pacquiao look bad in a fantasy fight that can't possibly happen and make your fantasy fights with Canelo against fighters that he might actually fight someday.
