Same freaking formula for Floyd. You would NEVER have thought that Floyd would be fighting Maidana until the Berto, I mean Broner fight.

Floyd is laughing in your face and you don't even realize it. He is now showing YOU and others how he picks his cherry, right in the open. Maidana or Khan? Who can we hype up enough to make the fans buy the PPV while taking relatively low risks.

NOBODY gives Maidana any chance at UD. His only chance is a punchers chance and not much of one.

It wasn't science behind it or nothing, Khan was just the overall loser of the two.

The reason Floyd picked Maidana is because Khan couldn't sell shyt on PPV. In fact, Maidana won't sell very much either. THIS IS NOT A PPV-WORTHY FIGHT!!!

          The real question is...

The real question shouldn't be why Maidana over Khan. It should be why are these the two choices? Really couldn't negotiate with Pacquiao? Couldn't fight Lara at 54? Couldn't fight Martinez at Middleweight or at least a catch weight (but Cotto could?)? Couldn't try to fight GGG at Middleweight or a catchweight?

            no explanation is necessary
the Khan fight was garbage and for once he felt the backlash
Maidana is no challenge but he's credible for having a title
the one thing Floyd hadn't done before recently was unify titles
he's doing it again now so this fight is good

He was like a poor mans Don King in that interview, trying to sell us a crap fight.
Funny how the interviewer never mentioned the "Im going to let the public decide" poll.

I never became a boxing fan because of the business. With Floyd, thats all i see.

Thought Floyd said titles don't matter LOL? Guess when you have to sell a ****ty opponent who was dominated by Devon Alexander who just lost to Shawn Porter, you have to contradict yourself.

Regardless of matchup Chino earned the fight that simple. Khan did not earn it...and like he said people are looking at one poll. He had a poll on facebook/twitter/instagram....and chino won by a far margin...
