Lara wasn't being disrespectful, he went up and congratulated him and asked him for a fight. It wasn't on some Mosley-Mayweather type crashing.

And that's what Lara should have actually done to garner more attention IMO. Canelo just brushed him off like a peasant, Lara should have gone up and tried to get a heated reaction from Canelo.

I understand Lara is trying to get his but man, that was embarassing! Lara was straddling the line. He wasn't sure if he wanted to be rude or polite. You have to be commanding to pull off something like this but he was too modest and got sonned lol. Good for Canelo. He handled it well.

Lara is actually very classy, similar to Golovkin. All he wants is to fight the best.

Lara may have gotten owned by a few well placed lines, but I applaud any fighter that would have to balls to go up to Canelo after that kind of performance and challenge him.

IMHO, we need more fighters like Lara willing to do whatever it takes to challenge a fighter on a higher level.

The way he speaks? Sounds like normal speaking spanish to me.. He's wearing a suit, (or at least a jacket) not a hat for bandana. Not rocking any tattoos.. Not wearing any gold teeth. Not loud. I don't see where the thug comment applies..
