Angulo was hurt to the body with the first combo Canelo threw. He was holding back because he didn't want to get countered to the body.

What exactly was the set up? Canelo was on his way to winning a unanimous decision. Now if angulo was the one ahead on the cards and it got stopped in favor of canelo then I would be very su****ious.

He was given no time at all to ease into the fight, the bombs came flying right away. ..so whatever factors were already playing into this before thefight i.e him being past it"shot", "never that good", drained, etc, etc. made it difficult to build momentum. he was def pulling his shots early but it really didnt last that long. he did get going somwhat. Too bad Caneo had to get booed he gassed a little but performed well...showed some fight and even in ring charisma. that is what he needs
