              Velez was getting the rush treatment a while back. Someone wanted to get him in over his head early. Now, he has as much experience and skill as most of the new contenders and he can't get close to a chance. He is now going through the feared and avoided phase of his career. I'm not saying Velez is good, yet, but no one wants to stumble or get surprised by him, so he'll be avoided as risky, very risky.

                  I think the WBO are looking at giving Vasyl another shot at the vacant title - ain't sure who against (but given the Velz situation probably not GR jr).

                  No idea who they're gonna find for El Ruso though. Shame about Velez - woulda been a good fight IMO.

                    Gradovich should fight his IBF official challenger Alex Miskirtchian ! Alex Miskirtchian has had three times the European belt and is a great fighter. This would be the Featherweight fight of the year
